Coaches for Salone del Mobile Groups
Salone del Mobile.Milano returns to Fiera Milano at Rho from 13 to 18 April 2027, its 65th edition. This is a trade fair first: students may enter from 16 April, and the general public only on the closing weekend, Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 April. Check which days your group may enter before you book a coach.
Rho is not central Milan
The exhibition centre is north-west of the city, about 15 km from the Duomo, roughly 30 min by coach in light traffic. From Linate it is about 32 km (45 min), from Malpensa about 43 km (50 min) and from Bergamo about 56 km (about 1 h). Allow more at peak times.
Coaches reach the grounds from the A50 western ring road or from the A4, leaving it at fieramilano or Pero-fieramilano. Car parks round the site hold some 10,000 cars, the biggest by Porta Ovest (the West Gate), and coaches have their own parking. Since no official coach set-down point has been published, the drop-off at the gates is agreed with the operator.
A daily shuttle from the hotel
Visitor hours are 09:30 to 18:30. A coach that leaves the hotel before opening and collects after closing keeps a delegation together. Between gates, visitors can ride the Circolare Fiera shuttle, so the coach need not move round the site.
Hotels in central Milan sit inside Area C, which runs on weekdays from 07:30 until 19:30. Only Euro VI buses may enter it, so the operator checks the vehicle's eligibility. Coaches with more than 9 seats also pay a daily Area C charge, and that covers up to 5 hours parked in the coach areas.

Metro and train as a fallback
Rho Fieramilano, terminus of metro line M1 (the red line), serves the fair directly, and Rho-Fiera railway station has suburban lines S5, S6 and S11. For a small group without luggage, that can beat the road at rush hour. For a large group, or one carrying samples, a coach is simpler.
Questions organisers ask
Can children come to the fair?
On trade days, nobody under 10 gets in. For the public weekend, check the organiser's rules before bringing a family group.
Can arriving delegates go straight from Malpensa to the fair?
Yes. Malpensa to Rho is about 43 km, around 50 min by coach in light traffic. Agree with the operator whether the luggage stays on board until the hotel run.
Is the fair itself inside Area C?
No. Area C covers central Milan inside the Cerchia dei Bastioni; the fair is at Rho, outside the city. The charge matters only if the coach also enters the centre on a weekday.
